Community Involvement

Jonathan and his staff are involved with the Lewis County Chamber of Commerce, Jane Lew Lions Club, and many civic and charitable organizations throughout the county.

The Jane Lew Fireman's Arts and Crafts Festival is held annually on Labor Day weekend. We donated the use of our brand new parking lot to the St. Patricks School for a parking fundraiser. Parking in Jane Lew is a premium, so this event turned into their largest fundraiser of the year!

Lewis County Honor Guard Pouch

We work closely with the Lewis County Honor Guard who assists all branches of the military (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard) in providing military honors at the funerals of our fallen veterans. The U.S. Department of Defense calls this protocol "Honoring Those Who Served."

The Lewis County Honor Guard is a group of dedicated veteran volunteers who take great pride in recognizing and honoring our fallen veterans for their service to our country. A team from the designated branch of service folds and presents the American flag to the family. The Lewis County Honor Guard stands in silent prayer prior to service, then a bugler plays taps, and they commence a 21-gun salute. Afterwards, the Commander, William "Bill" Cayton, presents the shell casings to the family, along with a Memorial Certificate, and a message of gratitude and appreciation for time served.

To enhance this presentation, we designed and ordered a special pouch for them to use for the shell casing so that the family would have a memorable keepsake for years to come. It is our honor and privilege to assist and support the Lewis County Honor Guard, as they help support our families during their time of need.
