I can not express the wonderful experience that Jonathan, Sarah and the whole created for our family in the death of my mom, Mary K. Gum, age 101 years. They went above and beyond anything I imagined. They made a difficult task so much easier. I would recommend their services to anyone. I felt like I knew them forever and just met them. I cannot express the incredible care and love that Jonathan and Sarah, and their staff went to in our moments of loss. Their professionalism was only topped by their absolute love afforded to us in our time of grief. My Mother's funeral was incredibly beautiful and I simply can't get over how perfect they made that day. They went above and beyond to ease us through this sadness, their hard and dilligent work was stupendous and amazing in the minimal amount of time they had to prepare her for her travels beyond. We made no mistake handing over her last life tribute to them. I will be forever thankful for their immense consideration and help in this time of grief.. I could not have envisioned a better sendoff for the Mother and Wife she was. Great thanks and appreciation to Pat Boyle Funeral Home. It is apparent the Lord aids them and considers them his earthly angels. .

I recently experienced the death of my mother who died at the age of eighty-six in her home. My father, her spouse for sixty-six years, did not make any funeral arrangements until my mother's health professionals predicted her death to be within a matter of days. Despite being emotionally stressed at this time, both my father and I felt comfortable and completely at ease during the scheduled meeting at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home for the pre-planning of my mother's funeral. Dottie Walden expertly guided us through the pre-planning essentials with a wealth of warmth and kindness. She possesses the experience and wisdom needed to help set a family on the path of appropriate grieving and subsequent healing. What a pleasant surprise for me and my father that the level of comfort was such that laughter spontaneously erupted as we were led by Dottie to discuss our loved one and fondly remember my mother's character traits. (How ideal! Having laughter be a part of preparing for death and acknowledging mortality.) After my mother's death, my father and I were very relieved that so many important decisions regarding funeral arrangements had already been made during this pre-planning session. The level of attention to detail is exceptionally high with regards to every aspect of this funeral home. From the pre-planning stage and the collection, preparation, and display of the body to the lowering of the coffin into the grave, my family and I had every need associated with this difficult time effectively met. Death IS a part of life. When this is recognized, one can live more fully. What a great service the folks at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home provide by enabling grieving families to experience any desired level of reverence pertaining to any chosen faith. In this funeral home, one can practice the personal rituals associated with the death of a loved one, so that life can be celebrated and appreciated. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone who needs the services of a funeral home to enlist the services of the Pat Boyle Funeral Home because of its: • LOCATION: It’s just a few minutes drive from I-79, and the large, level parking lot is easily accessible. • FACILITY: It exhibits a strikingly well-designed exterior and interior space. From the soothing water fountain in the parking lot and the large, inviting front porch (complete with rocking chairs), one enters an interior space that is designed to project an overall feeling of home NOT funeral. One immediately is struck with the level of light which brightens the interior space. Natural light from large windows and glass-paneled doors, supplemented as needed with an appropriate level of artificial light, helps dispel despair. No dark, dreary gathering spaces in this place! The furniture is comfortable, and the interior design throughout is aesthetically pleasing. The spaciousness of the funeral home is balanced by a practical floor plan that is impressive in its comfort features which include a beautiful kitchen/dining area and a separate children's play room. I can't report on the men's toilet room, but I was awed by the women's toilet room, which I can attest provides so much more than toilets. (A lovely setee, a baby changing table, a selection of quality toiletries, notes of personal inspiration, and even pieces of chocolate are included amongst the items to be found in there.) This ladies' room is a place where relief can be achieved in several ways. • PROFESSIONAL STAFF: Relationships are the key to any successful enterprise, and Pat Boyle, Dottie Walden, and Lane Yeager fully demonstrated their competence in initiating and maintaining a strong, positive relationship with my family during and following their time of service to us. For that, I shall be forever grateful.
